Hello, friend. First: Some facts.

I'm a student. A master's student. Which is weird.

I am studying in a country that is different from my own.


This is really all you need to know to understand why I made this flippin thing. It has come about because of you!, a friend/family member that is presumably interested in my life, for whatever reason. And for that I love you dearly, enough to smootch you right on the face. It also has come about from my own desire to have an account of this little adventure, which isn't nearly as cute a reason.

I'm aiming to update this about once per week. And since I am hardly a writer, you'll assuredly not be seeing just journal-y blocks of text. Hopefully there'll also be doodles and comics and pictures. Things to keep you people interested, since I know you all bore so easily.
